One of the worst experiences I have ever had with airline industry!
Returning from a family vacation in Greece we got stuck in Athens for no apparent reason or excuse for 6 hours flying to Toronto making it impossible to catch our connecting flight to Los Angeles. Of course no apologies or any reasons were provided and a very unsympathetic and aloof "customer service" agent with no willingness to consider our situation. As a result of this delay I missed surgeries that I had scheduled for the following day for my patients and my family endured many hours of getting stranded in Athens followed by an uncertain itinerary yet to be decided in Toronto and Calgary! Remember not a word of "sorry" from anybody's mouth and a very cotton dry and matter-of-fact attitude.
Many years ago, the only other time I was unfortunate enough to choose Air Canada to fly from Dallas to Montreal, I had exactly the same horrible experience with unprofessional agents and getting stranded and rerouted in Philadelphia with 5 hours of delay and missed luggage only to be delivered THREE days later by the Air Canada rocket scientists on the last day of my stay in Montreal!
This is one pathetic and incompetent airline that should really close business and avoid further embarrassments for itself and it's unfortunate staff members.
I would never come close to flying Air Canada even if you paid me to do so! They don't deserve even one star but Yelp doesn't allow ZERO stars. Having looked at majority of the remaining reviews it appears that I am in good company with almost all other reviewers.
Air Canada earned the worst possible review I can give!
