  • From the website, we "reserved this package" for the taco service. We had some special dietary accommodations that required special attention. We mistakenly placed our credit card information to the website, thinking this was holding the reservation. The following page did not give us an order total or anything pertaining to the order just that we should contact them if we don't hear from them within 48 hours. We called, left message and no return call. Since we never spoke with The Margarita Man we thought they must not want our business and we contacted another caterer who quickly replied and confirmed our order details. The first time to talk to the caterer probably shouldn't be 20 minutes before the actual event when Scott calls us. He was rude and continued to interrupt us and pushed that he could just have the caterer leave the food. We declined the offer. I bet he would have called us if our credit card information was incorrect on his website to which we searched our credit card statement to find he charged our card the day we input our information to the website. In the following days, his tactics were to bully us and even went as far as researching my name to find the company I run and stating he would leave bad reviews for our company. Scott is rude, demeaning and expected to get paid even though he only ever spoke with my wife and I 20 minutes before the event stating that he is very busy. Again he probably would have made a diligent effort to contact us if our credit card info was incorrect. We have disputed the charges and anticipate he doesn't have a leg to stand on. Further we learned from our caterer that did serve our party that The Margarita Man doesn't supply the catering rather he contacts someone else to fulfill it. I am not sure he has a license to cater. Do yourself a favor and contact a reputable caterer directly and don't work with this middle-man. He is rude and will continue to talk over you and insult your decency as a human being.
