  • The front office staff was very professional. FYI, you will be charged a non-negotiable fee of $75.00 for oral hygiene instructions (how to brush and floss). This is not usually covered under insurance so they pass the cost on to you. The reason I see a professional is to get there professional opinion. I've never been charged extra to receive this information. The tech dropped the film while taking x-rays out of my mouth, she picked up the piece and put it back in the protective plastic but she didn't change her gloves after touching what dropped on the floor. She then proceeded to touch the protective plastic that went into my mouth. Unfortunately, I went to see another periodontist so I can't tell you how the cleaning went.
