  • I was introduced to Greek food at the age of 15 through my bestie Zee and her family who happened to be Greek. I spent many a holiday preparing and cooking Greek food for the holidays. It became second nature! So when Yiayia (grandma in Greek) and family took me to eat at the Golden Greek I fell in love. It was the first Greek restaurant I ever went to. I have always eaten homemade Greek food. This small mom & pop joint was just as good as Yiayia would make! I love the avgolemono soup and of course the moussaka! And this restaurant was always on hand at the Annual Phoenix Greek Festival! Opa!
