| - This workout has really helped me in my running. I joined initially to improve my half-marathon time (which is really helped me get my personal best on a hilly course). However, the workouts have been challenging enough so that I have been able to able to complete a full marathon and I just signed up for my second full marathon this year! There are 3 paces while you're on the treadmill: base, push, and all out. I've been doing this a little over a year and each of these for me has increase by `~1.0 mph for each. (Base pace: 5.5 to 7.0; Push: 6.7 to 7.8; All out 8.0 to 9.1). I'm running faster with negative splits. Also, when I started, weightlifting and rowing really intimidated me. Now, I really enjoy lifting the weights and love getting all the feedback on my form (either for having poor form or proper form) while lifting. Rowing is still very hard for me but I get better every time. Furthermore, the owners, management, staff, and trainers are all personable. It's really a team environment. It's a little pricey but if I go to a big box gym, I won't push myself in the same way. I love having the goal of raising my heart rate for at least 12 minutes of class at 84% or above. I can also say that I have lost weight and body fat since I've started without making a lot of changes to my diet. However, it's important to remember that it's about 20-30% fitness & 70-80% diet when it comes to body transformation. I hope they add more class times.
