  • I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Furshire for pet boarding & sitting. Great, great facility and wonderful staff!!! We recently brought our 1year old lab Nero with us from Colorado to visit family in Sun City and needed a place for him during the daytime. My wife found The Furshire via Google and we decided to give it a try. Nero had a blast! He loved the pool, the huge outside area to run around with all the other dogs, and really loved the staff, especially the owner, Janene. Nero is mostly a home-body and normally wants to be with his family all the time. But by Day 2 at The Furshire, he wouldn't leave us alone in the mornings until we put him in the truck to take him to daycare. By Day 3 he was actually moving somewhat gingerly in the mornings because he had been playing so hard at daycare, and this is a lab that gets lots of daily exercise! He absolutely loved it!!! It's so nice to have a great place to take him when we come to the Phoenix area to visit! If The Furshire were located in Colorado Springs, we'd use them at least a couple times a week just for Nero's indulgence!
