  • Amazing! I can't say enough good things about my experience with Zizzo. I found Zizzo after I had the hem fall out on my favorite J.Crew dress that I was planning to wear out to a celebratory dinner that night. I've previously taken items to a so-so tailor in north Phoenix close to my house, but her hours are very unreliable, and the service isn't quick. So, as always, I turned to Yelp to find a tailor who could help me in my time of need-and voila, I found Zizzo! I called ahead to see how long it would take to repair the hem, and Phil told me over the phone that it would be less than ten minutes as long as it wasn't something complicated. I drove on over, and was greeted by an older man with a very strong accent whose name I didn't catch. He told me the tailors were currently at lunch, and that I could drop my dress off and come back in about an hour. I was mildly annoyed since it's about a 30 minute drive from my house and I didn't have any other errands to run in that part of town, but, you know, people obviously have to eat, so I decided to go eat at Green while I waited. Right after I started driving away, Phil called me and told me to come back because the tailors had just finished their lunch and would be able to do my dress right away. Not only was it great customer service of him to call me back to save me the extra trip, but Phil is INCREDIBLY nice, friendly, and funny. I agree with the Yelper that said they wished he owned a coffee shop so they could experience his cheerfulness on a regular basis. He and I chatted while I waited for them to repair the hem. When they finished, he told me that they'd also repaired the slip in the dress. I asked how much I owed him, and he told me he'd do it for $5. Great deal, right? So I then took out my credit card (I don't typically carry much, if any, cash), and he told me to put it away and that I could just "get it next time." Whaaaaat? I was absolutely blown away by the fabulous customer service and kindness here (I had mentioned to Phil while we were talking that I'm currently unemployed and looking for work, and I suspect that may have played a role in him telling me to just pay for it next time). Anyway, I will most definitely be back! In fact, I may go drop off a few things today...
