We visited this place twice during a one week stay at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge. We dined at the sushi bar. We are "over" the cooking "show" at many of the Japanese steak houses.
We found the sushi to be really good and fresh. We enjoyed the sushi boat for 2 which had an assortment of nigiri and sashimi. Also included was salad and miso soup. Service at the sushi bar was personable and friendly.
Prices were reasonable. A few too many "cooked" sushi rolls on the menu.
The more traditional nigiri and sashimi was fresh and tasty. The salmon had the right level of fat as did the tuna. Escolar was really tasty. Unagi was freshly cooked and had a nice crunch to it.
