| - The taste and presentation of food here is second to none. No matter what you order, your tastebuds are in for a treat - every dish is like that feeling of losing your virginity (guys, you know what I'm talking about). Truly a delightful experience.
My only reason for deducting stars is because it's just not my cup of tea. I'm a bigger guy and like eat a solid lunch or dinner. By design, Tapas means small plate, and that is literally what you are getting. I would say this place is great for a lighter meal, lunch/dinner with ladies, or business meetings where you don't want to ever get caught with a mouthful.
Atmosphere is classy and conveniently located adjacent to the lobby of the Aria.
On average, two to three dishes per person (for the whole meal, maybe four if hungry) are needed to feel satisfied, without leaving the impression that you are cheap, under-ordered, or are are going to leave someone unsatisfied
* * * * Here is how to order and not look stupid * * * *
- Order your drinks first, before looking at menu
- You are ordering for the table and going to share
- No individual orders, but get everyone's input
- Order 2-3 dishes at a time, keep the menu
- Let them deliver whenever they are ready
- Take your time, this is more about flavor than fill
- Be ready to throw a couple more orders in any time
- Don't be the guy/gal that says OMG, look to the prices
- Don't let anyone order from the 45 minute menu
- I repeat, don't order from the full menu. Wait and chef staff will appreciate this as it's all about the tapas (small dishes) here.
Look, it Vegas and a little pricey, but well worth it. You can do a memorable event here. As a guy, this is the kind of place where the ladies would gossip about you afterwards for taking your wifey and her friends here.
Price per dish is about $10-12, per plate. Try everything.
