This is the worst airlines I've ever dealt with. I bought a ticket for my niece and her one year old son to fly from Fayetteville, NC to Charlotte. It was the first time she's ever flown. And the flight was a little delayed going to Charlotte but the flight from Charlotte to Las Vegas was delayed. I received an email that her gate was changed and I sent her a message.
She went to the counter where an AGENT directed her! Then the gate agent told her it was going to be a half hour to leave and come back. She didn't know the gate was changed since she got off the plane. Her first plane ride and with a one year old. Rude, horrible customer service.
Finally, she was told there was a gate change and she just missed it by minutes. Now they put her on a stand by for tomorrow afternoon. What a horrible service! She's stranded at Charlotte Airport with her 1 year old. Her luggage is in Las Vegas. What a terrible airline. They won't even help put her up, even though she listened to the gate agent which was cost her to miss her connection. What a terrible experience and it's her first airplane ride.
I won't EVER buy a ticket or ride on American Airlines.
