  • "Downtown New Kensington" is pretty much a ghost town but it's so nice to see new businesses popping up! I was so happy to see this coffee shop within walking distance from my office. When I work in New Ken and need a coffee break I typically have to drive to get some. The inside is nice and clean with lots of seating. The also offer free wifi so this would be a great meeting space or study space. I like how the decor and name tie into Kaffa Ethiopia being the birthplace of coffee. Ethiopians were the first to recognize coffee's stimulating effect, although they ate it and did not drink it as a beverage. I ordered the kafa coffee iced. While it was good I was expecting something a little stronger since the guy working told me it was stronger. Might need to try it hot and not cold. I will definitely be visiting frequently and hope that this little gem stays in New Ken!
