  • I've been to this place 2 times... My first appt was from a groupon that my sister gifted me. Upon finishing my initial session, the receptionist let me know that if I scheduled an appt now, they would honor the initial groupon price. With that being a killer deal, I was thrilled to re-book. I had both services done with Maria, she's awesome! However my third scheduled appt, I called in the day of to re-scheduled appt (due to my infant being Sick and making me feel sick).. The receptionist was rude and snooty. She had this "miss know it all" attitude.. I did not appreciate her tone of voice, and proceeded to curse upon my own rage and dislike. I now look back and realize I shouldn't have cursed, I was just so livid.. Instead of trying to tone down the situation and explain their policy, she kept saying things like,"well you put a card on file and we'll just charge that"... It totally just flipped my insides.. So I stated that I'd keep my appt and never return.. And I promised a yelp review! A few minutes later, the owner Lupe I think it was? Called me to explain their policies, but offered to re-schedule my appt. she was very nice, but caught me at a bad moment due to her receptionist already making me livid.. So she salvaged the situation as best as possible under the circumstances.. The wax service itself is excellent.. Fast, CLEAN, and efficient.. Front receptionist lady.. Not so much.. She should rethink that attitude of she wants to be the front of the house for this establishment.. My 3 stars is only for Maria's service! Otherwise.. It would be a 0.
