I flew from Buffalo to Phoenix with a connection in Chicago earlier this week. I had countless issues with my flight. I booked my original flight to arrive in AZ at 12:30 pm. AA rebooked my flight and never informed me. I spent an hour calling them, waiting for a call back, having them tell me that they didn't make a mistake ect. Eventually the booked me on another flight. My new flight ended up leaving BUF THREE HOURS LATE due to mechanical issues. I did not encounter a single helpful employee. Everyone either "didn't know anything" or "wasn't a mechanic" or "we don't know anything either. They didn't even assist every one in booking new flights for their delayed ones. I ended up calling the toll free hotline and rebooking my own flight because as far as I'm concerned all the employees were incompetent. I missed my connection in Chicago and had to take a flight into AZ at 5 pm. I had another flight, not AA to Mexico out of a different airport that I missed. Since this "isn't their problem" I ended up out of $500 out and they screwed me over. If i could leave 0 stars, I would. I've never had this many problems with an airline and I have been flying since I was 15.
