  • Stopped by this bakery on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The bakery is in a small, slightly hidden location, but I love the cake display of deliciousness. I picked up an apple pie which was buttery, flakey, and not too sweet -- really packed with apples and cinnamon. The lemon cookies were pretty good, but nothing too spectacular and their cupcakes were more dense than I expected, but the buttercream is the real winner. I tried the spicy mango which had a refreshing hint of lime buttercream, candied mango slivers, spice, and a mango cupcake base. The lady behind the counter was also really nice and answered all my questions (some family members have dietary restrictions)...really helpful. I'll definitely come here again and try some of the other thigh fattening delights. Guess this means I'll actually need to start exercising or wear sweatpants!
