Bought a groupon in hopes to find a good massage therapist after mine moved away. Limited availability to book, and booking quite far out. I picked a day and waited over a month for my appointment. To prepare for the day, I paid for a day of daycare for my toddler to enjoy a day of relaxation. I was so excited for today- haven't had a day to myself......since......ever........
I showed up for the appointment. The place appears to be located in a cross fit gym. They didn't even have a logo on the front door. I knocked at the locked door and wondered if I was at the right place. No answer. Called the number associated with the business. A woman answered who said she is "working off site" and will call the therapist to see what is happening. She calls back to tell me he has gone out of town and apologized stating they tried calling me but my number was busy. I never received the call or a message. A day of daycare paid for, and 12 miles of driving and gas I'll never get back. Why show available appointments and book clients when you are going out of town? I got a refund from groupon and will never return. Super bummed- I was really looking forward to today.
