  • I am a current donor at CSL Plasma in Las Vegas. I felt that my experience today was very disappointing. While waiting for the data entry person to input my information, I was replying to a text on my phone when the security officer came into my booth and rudely told me that I needed to get off my phone. I was even surprised that he was even speaking to me being that I didn't feel that I was doing anything disrespectful because I had been waiting for a while. Once finished, I came out and checked my phone again for service and soon as I sat down waiting for the nurse the officer approached me and asked did I take a photo of him. Surprised again, I told him no and instantly the assistant center manager Michele P came up to me and asked to speak to me. She accused me of taking photos of the officer and asked to look through pictures of my phone. I told her I felt that it was an invasion of my privacy and that I didn't take any photos. She said that she wouldn't tolerate my disruptiveness and told me to leave for the day. I have never had any problems at this facility before today, though I haven't been here in a while I just felt extremely disrespected at the fact that because I was accused of taking photos when I wasn't and when asked if I could review the camera footage of their accusations she instantly said that that was impossible. Other than this incident, I always feel that the staff is very helpful and overall my experiences have been good but I do believe that Michele P's role as a manager should be reviewed. I have been donating in general for a while and I do understand that it saves lives and I actually feel that I am making a difference while doing it but because I was very embarrassed at this incident I will not be returning to this facility.
