I really struggle with writing this since most of my guilty pleasures reside here...
Adorable $2 Egg salad sliders on delicate buns with juicy tomatoes and crispy bacon..a perfect road trip treat for hour #2 when you're stuck in traffic to Tucson (or a hangover, seriously)
A toasted slice of fig and walnut bread with nutella...c'mon! Talk about a slice of magic in your mouth.
The coffee is illy- though I always order an extra shot since they seem to serve espresso drinks a little weak.
I have had a few other pastry and they are always exactly what you expect. The shortbread didn't do it for me one day and was a little sad, but that's not typically what I come here for.
I do tend to agree about the service- it's sliding downhill pretty quickly. There tends to be a lot of apathy from an inexperienced staff about something being out or taking longer than anticipated. I really would hate to see this place fall into the same trap some other places have...forgetting that a great place isn't great if there are no customers.
