  • Congratulations, Cobblestone Nails, you're my first Yelp review! Unfortunately, it's not a good one. I came here after just moving back to Phoenix at the recommendation of one of my most trusted friends who has been coming here for 10 years. This was my third visit and while I thought it was a bit pricey the last two times I came, I was pleased with the results. This time, however, the results were completely unacceptable. I got new gel put on my nails last Wednesday and by the next day a part of my left index finger had chipped off. I don't do any heavy lifting or work heavily with my hands so how this happened is beyond me. I went back to have it fixed Friday morning, no problem. By Saturday evening half of the gel on my left thumb had been ripped off after I tried opening a can of soda. I got that fixed on Monday afternoon. Here we are today, on a Tuesday and less than a week after I had this gel originally put on, and now the ring finger on my right hand has the gel peeling off. I have never had this poor of an experience with gel or acrylics in my life and for $25-$35 (it's an extra $10 for glitter) I'd expect the product to last AT LEAST seven full days without chipping. I believe my experience is an outlier considering how many loyal customers this salon has but to say I'm extremely disappointed with the experience I've had over the last week would be an understatement. I plan on going back tomorrow, for my fourth time in seven days, to have this nail fixed before going out of town this weekend but sadly I can't say I plan on coming back after that.
