  • Friendly staff is about all they have going for them. I bought a couple of vouchers (massage/mani/pedi) for a girls' day and was completely underwhelmed. First of all, the change rooms are tiny and half of the lockers don't work. Secondly, it just felt like we were product passing through an assembly line as the spa is hardly equipped to handle the volume of business from the group deals. The package started out with the mani and pedi, which way more painful than enjoyable. Not sure if the employees are certified estheticians, but tools were filthy, my manicure was full of air bubbles once the polish dried and my fingers were hurting by the end of it. I suggest bringing your own polish because the selection of colours is VERY limited. We were immediately called for our massages following nails. Clearly, there is no way you are not going to ruin a fresh pedicure laying face down on a massage table. My "masseuse" was a therapist-in-training which was obvious by the lack of skilled technique. The massage rooms were cold, only made worse by the fact that I had to lie spread-eagle with exposed legs in an attempt to avoid ruining the pedicure. Afterward, we hung out in the lounge for a bit until two men came in. Sitting around in a robe with a headful of massage oils is hardly cute. It was just incredibly awkward, to say the least. Anyway, for $55 ($65 after tips), I would opt for a really good mani/pedi elsewhere and skip the massage.
