  • 4.5 star fun, that's what you should come for......accommodations are closer to a 2 (maybe a 3 on the high side). So the park is plain F-U-N!!!! The 'funnel' slide was by far the most cool, for all 4 of us (ages 10, 12, 45 & 46). You can ride up to 4 in it. Our 2nd fav was the race slide, again 4 at a time on this one. There is another group slide that fits up to 5 ppl., it was ok & would be best for the less-adventure seeking folks/kids! 2 other slides you can ride as single or double, very easy going but do go inside a tube. Then there are 2 slides on the huge center playset (no tube required). The wave pool is fine, kinda small as wave pools go. No tubes allowed in wave pool. Our kids 3rd fav was the obstacle-pool, in the back corner. They LOVED the lily-pad & rope obstacles, then there's a large pool area with 5-6 basketball hoops, we had some great fun with a family water-ball game! The HUGE playset was fun too, the bucket dumps every 5 min & was pretty epic to stand under! Tip: The water park is less crowded early (9-11am) & around dinner (after 5/6pm). Christmas was actually NOT a crowded time.....Xmas eve day was the BEST, almost nobody. Xmas day got more busy after 2pm, but was still fine. Busier the day after Xmas, perfect as we checked out that day! We had NO lines for slides our entire stay, maybe behind one or two at the most! Food on site: mediocre & expensive. Starbucks is just across the road, they go have a D&D on site, but lines gat long starting at 7am according to gal working there. Starbucks was fast & easy! Buffet was (not sure if a special Xmas price?) $24.99 per adult & $13.99/kid over 5. Pizza was bearable but not awesome. Rooms: def worth getting a 1st floor room, it was an extra $29/night for this. Water park entry was right down the hall tho! Also, MagiQuest is mostly floor 3, some on floors 2 & 4.....runs 9am-10pm & kids run around like crazy on these floors (especially closer to the main lobby/elevator). ROOM QUALITY is lacking, made me think of a cheaper Disney Property.....floor over-used with stains & everything seemed in need of a deep clean! It was bearable, beds are hard, sheets are scratchy, pillows were like rocks. The bathroom was not "gross" but not sparkling....it was clean enough....we just did our best to ignore all of the little things & resolved to shower 'for real' when we got home.
