| - Tried Pacos today after visiting the mall. It was so-so.
The goods:
Flour tortillas, chips and salsa, guacamole, and the steak taco.
The tortillas were soft and warm, the salsa perfectly spicy, chips were warm (but a little too salty), guac tastes yummy, and the steak was cooked perfect.
The bads:
Chicken taco, drink "specials", price, wait, beans, and rice.
The chicken was bland, drinks were over priced and watered down, pricing for two tacos and boxed rice/canned beans is $11 (way too much), watched many tables get turned away but we were seated immediately at an open table, and there were many... I don't understand their seating here it seems strange.
The averages:
Service - somewhat lacking, she was never close by nor did she check on us often enough. I didn't like my drink, and she never asked about the full glass, but happily put the extra $11 on my tab.
The lowdown, this place is okay, not authentic Mexican food, not terrible, but not worth the price. I dunno, we might we return. We might not.
