  • Buyer Beware! This is a Findlay Dealership. If you leave a deposit here, it's not refundable. I was interested in a 2018 vehicle that had a 4-6 week delivery window. Keep in mind, it was an allocated vehicle, not a special order. I selected it from a list of a dozen vehicles that were en route. The salesman Ryan Ray required me to leave a deposit, which he assured me was refundable. I wanted to leave $500, but he insisted that the minimum deposit required was $1000. I was a bit hesitant but Ryan assured me that it was refundable if I decided not to purchase the vehicle, and he also told me that Nevada law doesn't allow dealerships to keep deposits if the buyer backs out. This is called the "Right of First Refusal". The car didn't even have a VIN yet, and we had not even worked out a contract or the financials. So guess what happened? I decided not to go forward with the deal before the car arrived, and I was told By Ezra that I couldn't get a refund for my deposit. Then Ryan denied that he ever told me it was refundable! I was lied to! Ryan got angry at me and became very defensive. I found it very unprofessional and telling. Imagine if the car had arrived, and I wasn't happy with it, apparently the plan was to keep my $1000 deposit. It's a brand new 2018 Crosstrek and it's not even out yet, so I haven't even test driven it. I wouldn't recommend going here, and if you do, don't ever leave a deposit. They will try to keep your money unless you raise hell. I wonder how many people they have done this to, and how many of those people just gave up. You are allowed by Nevada law to record in person conversations (just not over the phone). If they tell you in person that it's refundable on tape, then later tell you that it's not, you can just play them the tape. So they finally decided to give me my money back, but when I gave them my credit card, they billed me again for another $1000. So now I have two charges on my credit card for a total of $2000 for a car I'm not getting. They promised me a refund of both now, and I got the charges reversed. I had to take an unpaid day off from work just to go to this dealership and deal with this unnecessary unprofessional nonsense.
