  • Location Location Location. 90% of what makes Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh a lovely place to visit is it's positioning where the river meets the Southside Works. Noon, afternoon or evening, there isn't much that beats the atmosphere inside or outside of any Hoffbrauhaus but this location in particular has lovely view's of Pittsburgh and a stunning river-view terrace. Everything is pricey but you're paying for the novelty of a traditional Bavarian style atmosphere. I mean hell, the waitresses wear costumes. SO that aside, the food is actually pleasantly tasty schnitzel and even not schnitzel. THe pretzels are a perfect snack, beer cheese on point and last but obviously not least the beer is just dandy. Little size is $5 and Big is $10. But big is a liter and is basically 3 drinks...two of those and you will find yourself dancing on the table(which is both acceptable and expected) to the house band playing various covers and favorites. Go late for late night shenanigans or early for a hearty meal. This place is just a good time. GO!
