  • STAY FAR, FAR, FARRRRR AWAY! Let me just tell you, if I could emphasize anything, it is to go anywhere else but here. My boyfriend and I wanted to stay in a hotel for a night that wasn't too pricey, but still nicer than a motel. We figured this hotel would be great for what we were looking for.. Looked decent in pictures and in a nice general location so what could go wrong, right?? Our first gut instinct that this wasn't a good place to stay happened literally right as we got out of the car to check in. A nice lady walking her dog just spoke out to us and said "I am moving hotels. The cops have been here 6 times already today for some man beating his wife.. This is ridiculous." Interesting, we thought. We checked in anyway. The lady at the front desk wasn't very friendly but that's something I can overlook, because I think she knew how much this hotel sucks too. I asked if there was a Jacuzzi in property. "Nope, no jacuzzi, no pool, no work out room. Nothing extra. There is an Extended Stay hotel on Shea that has all of those and you can go there and use it." Um, ok. Lol. As we were walking towards the back of the hotel there were 2 ambulances in the opposite side of the parking lot. Still we went to put our bags in our room. The room itself was nice inside. Everything appeared to be clean and there was a mini kitchen. BUT THE SMELL, OMG. It smelled like a 600 lb person had stayed in there previously and reeked of body odor. I wish I was kidding. It was 84 degrees inside the room so my boyfriend turned the AC on and we headed to dinner. As we are driving back into the parking lot, there are 3 MORE cop cars outside of the front area. What the hell? So we go back up the room only to find the AC had turned off and wouldn't turn back on. Still reeking of BO, with no AC now, we had had enough. We walk down to the check in area and she refunds the $182.00 that would have been completely wasted to stay here. She also ended the convo with.. "So, have you used anything in the room? Does it need to be cleaned?" Ummm, we used the restroom and I had laid on the bed when we first arrived. That shouldn't even be a question. Cleaning service should still go up to the room to inspect to insure everything is clean before checking other people in.. RIDICULOUS. This place is seriously a joke. I can't believe people stay there. I will NEVER return to an Extended Stay. Keep safe if you are brave enough to stay here... Although they do not deserve to be in business for more than $50.00 a night.
