  • Bao Buns. Yum. One of the very few places that you can get Bao Buns in Phoenix, and they are both delicious and big! Not only this, but they are only $1.30! The buns are about the size of a fist, and are steamed, not baked (the man behind the counter noted that some have tried to bake the buns at home, thinking they were uncooked, later complaining that the buns were now tough, haha). I got the BBQ pork bun. The pork was very good and tasty, with a sweetness to it. Will be back for more! I also bought some almond cookies. These cookies are pretty big - about the circumference of a CD. They are not moist cookies, more like a biscotti, but lighter. The man behind the counter was very helpful and answered all questions. The cakes looked really tasty, and I understand that they are very good per other reviewers. Would strongly consider them next time I need a cake, though I do not live nearby.
