  • I was staying at the Bellagio for a convention, so of course it made perfect sense to eat at the hotel and charge everything to my room, and then those charges went on the master bill, which I review and approve! We went to Sensi one night, and it was actually pretty good, despite the usual Vegas hype. The place is very pretty, with the kitchen open to view behind glass, and rock and granite walls with water washing over them. We ate our way through oysters, Kobe beef carpaccio, a green salad (that cost $18! - give me a break), a lovely duck confit and Colorado lamb. Portions, as noted in other reviews, are small, but tasty. The service was typical Vegas obsequious, including my pet peeve - calling customers "you guys". There was a very long wait between the appetizers and main course, which was somewhat annoying. We were too full for dessert, but the server presented us with a little take away box with some fabulous cookies. Nice touch. Not sure if I'd go again, but if someone else is paying for it - what the hell, why not?
