| - The place looks nice, but the management is a total scam. Yes, the new company MAA.
First, they change their prices daily, just to keep you guessing. The kind of crap a used car salesman does.
Second, once your lease is up, they have a total scam that's played out the same for everyone I know living here. They make you decide two months before your lease is up if you want to stay. The month to month option is ridiculous, like a 50% increase. The 12 month lease is going to initially be about $100 increase over your already ample rent. You then have to play the game of complaining, to which they get back to you a week later with and "amazing" offer of "only" a $35 increase, but only if you sign by the end of the day! Of course, nothing has improved to warrant that money, it's just part of the scam.
Third, your rent is going to be $45 higher because you have to have basic COX cable whether you like it or not. And that's almost no HDTV channels (extra of course). And then they tack on the charges for water, pest control, etc. The price they quote you is about $100 less than your actual bill each month.
The maintenance team is good, but I've also had to call them many times for the AC, fridge, disposal, shower, etc.
