| - Welcome to Charlotte, Tandur Indian Kitchen, and thank YOU for welcoming US so magnificently.
Let's jump right in:
Tanduri wings- Spectacular. How ever they were prepared, how ever they were seasoned, keep it and roll those babies out across the country. I nearly lost my dining etiquette and gnawed on the bones.
Lamb Meatballs, Kerala Coconut Curry Sauce, Rice & Naan- I'd originally hesitated ordering the lamb meatballs, assuming fillers were used. My gracious cashier produced an ingredient listing and read it aloud, after which I promptly selected it. True to form, they were exactly as described; made only with ground lamb, fresh herbs and seasoning. They had that "farm to table", ultra natural taste I appreciate. The sauce was a winner, as was the naan, though I really never taste the garlic, and this was my second visit ordering garlic naan bread. (Admittedly though, I do fully submerge and drench it in the sauce.) Lastly, consider allowing customers to substitute an extra piece of naan bread for the rice. That stuff is a main attraction!
I imagine it was a design consideration but I would love having a waste basket near the utensils & napkins station. Naan & sauce is a "must order" treat, and with sauce-ridden fingers apropos to the occasion, having used napkins scrunched around the plate without a means to quickly discard them frustrates the tidy diner, distracting from the blissfulness of the meal. I know the wait staff eventually come by to take away stuff, but still, just think about it.
For sure, I'm coming back.
