Giving a generous 3 stars. Hotel isn't upscale at all, it is a little dated. During the time we came to Vegas there were a lot of hotels selling out so prices skyrocketed and availability is limited. The entire hotel has a hint of smoke smell that lingers from the casino downstairs. About every hotel casino allows smoking but the newer ones have a major filtration system that sifts all smoke away immediately. Walking distance from the Old Vegas Strip, some decent food options nearby and in the restaurant. I had a 6 night stay but wouldn't recommend more than two nights. I will say that I frequent mid to high level hotels when I stay places and this is definitely not a place to go to impress a date or spouse. Most of the staff is cool, lighting is a little on the dark side. All in all for a couple of nights to have a place to lay your head it's okay, but for a nice vacation stay out of old Vegas.
