| - The resort is wonderful. The grounds, staff, clean rooms, activities were all wonderful. This hotel is definitely catering to the business clientele, not families on vacation! It's a 5 star hotel with a 2-3 star food! For a Fours Seasons priced hotel, I would expect better food. The food is uber expensive and mediocre... Our family of 4 ate dinner at Il Tarrazzo, the kids had buttered pasta and shared a salad, me a steak, husband the special and $60 for a 1/2 bottle of wine our bill was over $250! The bread was stale, entrees not unique (as stated in the description of the restaurant). We also dined at the Thirsty Camel. The menu appeared to be a bunch of random items just thrown together. My husband and I were so hungry, but nothing stood out...we were so uninspired that we split a salad and a pizza with all the cheese lopped to one side...tasted like a frozen pizza, we each had a glass of wine..our bill was over $80. How about some Kobe burgers or light salad. Maybe someone should take a look at other menus at 5 star hotels to see what dining at a 5 star hotel is all about. We usually stay at the Four Seasons and do not mind paying higher prices for food that is decent. This food here is anything but! The hotel needs to improve their menus at all dining locations and get a better chef! Do not believe the other reviewers that the food is amazing, unless dining at Applebee's is your idea of fine dining! Please, please fix your food issues here, so we can return to your amazing hotel!
