  • Who knew that such a wonderful yarn store would spring up in the desert? Super selection and super staff. I love coming in and seeing what is new, and showing the staff my projects, which range from scarves to slippers to sweaters to sheep wearing sweaters (this would be Sam the Ram). There is an area to sit and knit, which I don't really take advantage of (yet) but I love that there is a community here. The staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to help, including winding the 9 skeins of yarn that I inherited from my mother-in-law (which now form part of Sam the Ram) and giving me advice on how to detox them (my mother-in-law kept them in mothballs for decades -phew). This is one of my very favorite places to go.
