  • I enjoyed my experience at Denham and company. I was happy to be able to get an appt for Saturday morning only a few days beforehand with Hilary who is excellent with blow outs for us curly heads. She did an exceptional job and my blow out was runway pretty afterwards. It only took her one hour to wash and complete my process with my thick head of hair which is kudos for her. For Hilary's talent - 5 stars! Here's the kicker and lack of stars for the overall rating. I hate having to search for parking and given that this location is smack dab in the middle of market square, parking wasn't easy. Free parking is near impossible. - Minus one star. This place has not had a functioning website for over a year [I've checked habitually] - hence near impossible to get a sense of the pricing at this establishment beforehand. Hence, there was a bit of sticker shock for me at the payment counter when my price came to $65 without tip. I always leave a great tip given my curly thick locks so it was quite a bit higher than my previous salon blow out experiences at Capristo and MCN salon in shadyside [both of which have easy free parking, and a cooler modern ambience]. - Minus one more star. End of story - probably won't be back. Still have a bunch of other salons to try for a last minute blow out before the weekend. However, if you do go to Denham - leave plenty of time for parking and ask for Hilary, she is quite talented and thorough!
