| - I really like the classes at this gym. The instructors are really fantastic, engaging, and nice. My favorite instructor is Bethany, her classes are always fun, she has a great personality, and I get a great work out. They have a great variety of classes and they schedule classes way more often than other gyms I have been to. I like how clean and nice the facility is. I wouldn't say that about any other gym that I've been to in Vegas, and I've been a member at 4 others. Although it is expensive, I figure it is better to spend $150 at somewhere I look forward to going to as opposed to spending $30 at a place that I barely go to because it's crowded and lacks the classes I like. With that being said, if it weren't for the classes, there is no way I would find the $150 worth it. The pool area is 5 star. For the most part, the staff is friendly and professional. They have fun events that encourage members to be social and try new things.
Reason it's not 5 star? It seems like weekly they are trying to convince me to sign up/buy something. My free "personal training" session did not have any personal training, and was a sales pitch for me to spend over $500 in products and services. I almost cancelled my membership the day after. I have had 3 employees call/text/email/approach me about signing up for their 60 day challenge, and that's not counting the e-mails that lifetime corporate sends (all in all I have been contacted OVER TEN times about this challenge). It's really excessive and annoying, and I get the feeling instead of setting boundaries for what's appropriate, they encourage their staff to cross them. That's really not okay to me.
