  • This is a late review, but like the first poster, I found out about this place through a groupon. I brought my evening wedding dress here for alterations but had temporarily moved to North York, coming back up to Markham once a week for dinner with my family. When I dropped off the dress, I had arranged for the alterations to be done by a certain time the following week. When I got there, the alterations weren't done and the lady told me to come back the following day. I wasn't pleased at all because I had already stressed the tight timelines we were on and pre-wedding schedules aren't exactly forgiving. Finally, she told us to go to a coffee shop a few doors down, order some drinks that she would pay for and would call us when she was done. When I finally got to try on the dress, it wasn't done exactly as how we had discussed (i.e. changing the neckline to a sweetheart), but she had some reasons as to why it couldn't be done although she hadn't originally mentioned those. The Groupon was worth $70, so to take in the sides a tad and slightly alter the neckline really did not seem worth it, especially since the alterations were simple enough to be done in the time it takes to drink a coffee. I only added the second star for paying for the coffees while we waited.
