  • Having been going to GTA malls since the early 80's I appreciate the fact Fairview retains a certain degree of familiarity without having gone crazy on expansion and mutation like Eaton Centre or Yorkdale. Not oversaturated with pretentious & overpriced boutiques (at least not yet...). Props for the extended hours on the weekend though - that's one good thing they followed form Yorkdale & Eaton. Some people complain about shortage of parking but they must not have scouted the mall very well, because on the Sears side I seldom have a problem to find a spot in the upper levels of the garage, and the upper outdoor Sears lot is mostly empty whenever I go there, for that matter the outdoor upper level Bay lot (facing DVP side) is also under used. So unless you're really picky the parking is available it's only an issue if you want access to the restaurants after mall hours. Best one stop food court, lost of variety without dizzying you with too many choices. Carribean Queen is the gem of mall food courts.
