  • Shut up. This place is so perfect. Divey and obnoxiously painted. You really can't miss it. Especially if you just stopped for dinner at the Golden Corral across the way. My favorite part is the overwhelmingly large number of flavors from which to choose (100+). I was stumped until the Mr suggested we go with the "Grenade" for me (green apple and lemon...something). Super sour, perky and delicious. He got the "Mai Tai" and, while it was satisfactory, he kept coming back to my Grenade for scoops. The good news is that it's really, really inexpensive. $2 for the medium size, that should satisfy any sweet tooth. They also have the whole sweetened condensed milk deal happening for 50ยข extra. Must be a New Orleans thing, since I couldn't fathom adulterating my snoball with such a concoction. They're open until 9pm, maybe later in the summer, and it's totally worth a drive to University City to get your very own snoball. Just make sure to bring a friend, so you can share!
