  • I was feeling impulsive and especially sweaty and gross a couple of weeks ago, so I decided it was time to chop it all off (my hair, that is). But when it came to hair places, I pretty much had no clue. I found Parlour on Yelp and aside from the good reviews, the online booking and same day appointment totally sold me. As if the convenience and relatively reasonable price weren't enough, the service was so laid back! You may be asking incredulously, "Wait, there's a place on Queen West where the staff don't sneer and silently critique your outfit?" Uh, yea: Parlour. Brie (sp*) was super nice. We spent the whole time talking about our hometowns and where in the 'hood to find the cheapest drinks and best rotis. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but based on what I told her, she gave me probably one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten, all for $60 (with tip).
