  • This is a ridiculous company! We have a rental property in Avondale AZ but we live in California. Our property management company advised us we had a crack in our cultured marble shower/bath surround and provided us with a quote to get it replaced with their own vendor, which was more than we wanted to spend. I called the closest Home Depot to our rental property about getting a bath/shower surround through them, and to have their own contractor come out to do the work. They submitted a request for a quote to their contractor, who happened to be Re-Bath and 5 Day Kitchens. No one at Re-bath was available to speak with me on the spot, but I was advised someone would contact us that day and was provided with a confirmation number. That afternoon a representative contacted us and advised they would not work with us unless my husband and I could be there in-person to talk with their designer. We explained the situation; that we reside in a DIFFERENT STATE to the rental property, that they can meet with the property management company for access to the home, and they just needed to install a surround purchased through and on behalf of Home Depot, and that but they still refused if the designer could not meet with us in person! That's simply ridiculous! Needless to say, I called Home Depot to report the negative experience and that they lost a product sale due to their contractor's ridiculous policy and now we have gone with someone else. I also note that this company has 3 different profiles on Yelp (all with the same phone number) and all of which have absolutely crappy ratings. I alerted Home Depot to this fact as well. I hope Home Depot change to a contractor who will actually install their products on their behalf without trying to send some shady sales person out to up-sell the owners. Bad business practice Re-Bath!
