  • If I could give this place negative stars I would. I agree with the other *REAL* reviews, that the wait each time I went was ridiculously excessive, they up-sell on basic cleanings for deep cleanings depending on your insurance too so watch out. I went in for an annual cleaning as a Phoenix newbie (having erroneously relied on the reviews), it took way too long to get in the chair (a solid half hour), I spent way too long in the chair being excessively poked and prodded, then shuffled around for xrays..... only to have them refuse to perform the cleaning unless I rescheduled and came back to do a deep cleaning. They go on about it being unethical to not do the deep cleaning.... blah blah blah. Then I waited another 30 minutes for the doctor to come over and look in my mouth after the hygienist got through and do ABSOLUTELY nothing. I was offered a $10 gift card to Starbucks for my inconvenience - in hopes I'd stain my teeth and need whitening I'm sure now. A measly $10 gift card won't make up for the meeting I missed or my precious time lost sitting in an office ungrateful for my business. So - I did opt to get the deep cleaning. At an out of pocket cost of abt $150. Which then has a follow-up after. The deep cleaning appt - also had over a 20 minute wait FIRST THING IN THE MORNING. For the follow up appt - I was running behind. I called 30 minutes before my appt (scheduled for 7:30AM) ... I got there about 15 minutes late and was lectured by the woman at the front desk about how late I was. Then told I would need to wait about 15-20 minutes. When I reminded her I had excessively waited for my last two appointments, I promptly got up and told her "I'll call you to reschedule". (as in, I'll call you, don't call me). Seriously, they can waste my time but I need to be there on the dot for them? Honestly, given history, even at 15 minutes late I WAS STILL EARLY by their poor standards. The hygienist called later that day offering to reschedule and a free whitening treatment. Are you people flipping kidding me? Stay out of my mouth and stay out of my wallet. Clearly all the young hygienists are unfortunately cheap labor made to up-sell unnecessary services for an overbooked clientele. They seemed decent enough as people despite the intrusive banter and I would hope for their sakes they find a Dr to work with to learn better business practices under. My guess is all these 5-star reviews are friends and family of the Dr and staff. Do yourself a favor and find a dentist who TRULY appreciates your time, doesn't dig with scarcity mentality for your hard earned cash, who shoots straight and treats you with respect . Save yourself the headache.
