  • After staying home with my son for several months we made the choice for me to start working again. I was so happy & excited to grow with him plus be there everyday while working to help support my family. So what a better job then child care right? No we were wrong. Only after 3 months I was running for my life. I tried to put my notice in 3 times with upper management & co teacher trying to guilt in me in to staying. With over 10 years of experience I was only getting $10.75 hour. After child care & taxes it was $8.00. The hardest party was the long hours, if they even asked if you could stay late, they just assumed. Waiting long times for bath room being told by administration "they were busy". The children are completey out of control with no discipline and the children in my class hit, spit, RAN out all day and yelled. Very unsafe classroom for other children & staff. This is a child & parent ran school...they can do whatever they want. My own sons behavior changed as well. He would cry every day like most of the children there and hasn't been the same sweet child in months. When go in to the school you can hear the sadness in the hallways. My son was always coming home dirty with bite marks and so thirsty like he didn't drink anything all day. Oh let's not forget my co teacher, who was out of her mind saying crazy thing everyday. She always yelled at the children with her erratic behavior and she was very undependable being in the hospital twice in 6 weeks. Puls she didn't do anything in the class but be mean to the kids. To think $2 more a hour then me and with a degree she is a bad teacher. The day I quite she harassed me via phone with no support from upper management or HR. The harassment was horrible from the other staff members too. All staff had nasty looks on there faces & I could tell they all hated there jobs. No one smiles there...if they do it's fake. It's not normal to look mad in a child care center. I've never worked in such a unhealthily work place like that. There was so much favoritism with the regional director with staff and life timers that there kids even took the place over and harassed you. Please think twice before working there or taking your child there. In 3 months I saw 2 new directors and tons of new staff. They keep the numbers up by enrolling new kids everyday don't be fooled this is not a safe & healthy child care center for children or staff.
