  • I used to compare shop at Lowes and here but I quit buying from here when they wouldn't accept the veteran discount? The short story is I was looking to upgrade the appliances in my new home. I was looking for a dishwasher, gas stove and matching over the range microwave. I initially price matched the appliances at both places but here was the deal breaker, home depot wouldn't add the additional 10% veteran discount to the final price but Lowes would? It's been three years since we have been back. I don't plan on going back and as a matter of fact feel even more compelled to patron locally operated stores in support of they local economy.
