  • This was my second hair cut in Yorkville since moving to Toronto recently - and my experience at Salon Escape was definitely the more enjoyable of the two! When I went in yesterday morning it was definitely quiet since I was the only customer - probably because it was a week-day morning only days after the winter holiday break. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and I have nothing critical to say. I have been intimidated by salon staff in the past who can be pushy or unreceptive to client input. This was definitely not my experience yesterday, Susanne asked me about how I had worn my hair in the past and how I generally style it now, then proceeded to recommend a few practical tweaks to my hair cut. This salon was recommended to me by a fellow recent graduate after I complemented her on her new cut. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Salon Escape prices were more reasonable than some other salons on Cumberland - and I found the same (the washing and cut was $50 before taxes and tip). I was also pleasantly surprised at the end of my visit to be presented with a set of three coupons for use on future visits. As my friend in marketing noted "they are into retention" and I definitely appreciate it! I'll definitely be going back to Salon Escape :)
