Yet another exhibit for the LVSCIFEST 2015. We brought the kiddos and met some friends to check out the Robot and Drone exhibition. Entrance to the event was free. Woohoo! The Pavilion itself is located near Green Valley Ranch. Also located on the property nearby area library and fire station.
Upon entering, I noticed the cleanliness of the facility. Almost spotless, you can tell they take pride in this cultural community offering. We walked around towards the seating area only to ralize how massive the Pavilion is. The stage is surrounded by dozens of rows of stadium style seating rising to the walkway. The main seating area has to seat at least 1000 people or more. That is seperated by two tiers of hills covered with grass that would be ideal for a picnic blanket or lawn chair for maximum comfort. I think the total capcity is close to 7000 people at the Henderson Pavilion. Who knew?
The complete main seating area is covered with a canopy type structure that looks like a giant circus tent piercing the sky. The entire place is quite impressive. I wish it was closer to the house. I might find myself here more often. The next event coming up is The Pink Floyd laser light show. I am shure that will be awesome and ticket prices seamed reasonable. I recommend getting a calendar and planning your next visit to the Henderson Pavilion.
