| - Using other Yelpers as my scouting reports, it seemed like this place was getting beat like a Taiko drum during its initial stages, including at a YEE. More recently, it seemed like ratings were on the upswing and since my family will easily come to consensus agreement on burgers for a meal, we stopped in on a Saturday afternoon.
Without any line, we ordered five sandwiches and I was pleased that the young man at the counter reviewed the entire order before he entered it. I ordered the Wagyu burger with a Brooklyn Brown Ale. Also ordered were the Pocket, the Old School Cheese, the Chili Chicken, the Turkey, and sides of fries and sweet potato tots to share.
My burger was cooked as I ordered with the beef being juicy and flavorful. Sauces are something I don't prefer on my burgers, but the BBQ and pink sauces paired well with my sandwich. The sweet potato tots had a crispy outside with steaming hot shredded sweet potato on the inside. They didn't last too long on the table. Other than my wife's burger being under-cooked to her liking but still edible, everyone else polished off their sandwiches completely.
We had no issues with service, which included about a short ten minute wait for food and a visit by a manager at our patio table to check on us. $75 might be a little steep for a party of five but a price I'm not up in arms about. We'll definitely be back to try the ribs. If the ribs are worthwhile, and if they can maintain satisfactory service, Ribs & Burgers shouldn't have any trouble succeeding.
