For the past six months, I have heard nothing but excellent things about this restaurant from my best friend, so we came here with high expectations. It is suffice to say that our expectations were exceeded!
Despite the fact that it was a Sunday afternoon, there were plenty of open seats. Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted and assigned to a seat. The menu holds so many options, whether you're feeling ramen or Japanese curry or appetizers or cold noodles. Its wide variety made me question my decision because everything looked so good (and I wasn't even hungry).
The pricing is ridiculously good. Although we only ordered two mini dishes and an appetizer, we were filled up and the total ended up being lower than a fast food meal. There's no chicken option for the curry so I opted for a mini chicken curry bowl. It's pretty good sized and it was only $4! My boyfriend ordered the chasu bowl and a karage and was super satisfied with his meal as well.
Our waiter was super attentive and knowledgeable too. He continuously checked up on us and filled out water cups. It's definitely a win-win when the service and food quality mirrors one another! To top of it off, there's a great ambiance and I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner! We definitely see ourselves returning in the near future.
