  • A little disappointed after ordering the Kim Chee fried rice that I let the owner know the rice was hard. He tried to dispute this with me by even tasting the rice on the side of my plate. I let him know (in a nice way of course) that I grew up in Hawaii for years eating Kim Chee Fried Rice and he uses the rebuttal that, "I am 100 percent Korean and this is the way mom makes it. The dish is different in different parts Cali, Hawaii, Vegas!" I didn't want to argue with him but as a reply, I let him know since he let ME know, that he's full Korean, "Look sir, I'm 100% Asian and I KNOW MY RICE!" Along with that, I originally asked for the dish to be served with Tofu and he let's me know that, "The Tofu was not good because it was frozen in the freezer". I find it interesting that he tried to challenge me on my own experience as a customer. The only reason I am giving him a three is because, he offered to replace my dish and even comped it.
