  • There are 2 Lao LAan-Xang restaurants in Madison. Personally, for the the atmosphere and overall food experience, I like the one on Williamson Street the best - not this one on Atwood. However, this restaurant has mixed drinks where as its sister restaurant does not... including one called the Laotini! If you like lychee and haven't had a Laotini, this is the place to try one! Most excellent. The food here is also not as spicy as the one on Williamson Street, so if you've heard of the spicy Laotin food dishes from Lan Laan-Xang, go to the one on Williamson Street! I still come here often, but only because it's not as crowded as the one on Williamson Street. So it's usually my backup restaurant :)
