| - After over 10 years as a patient at a dental practice in Ahwatukee, it was finally time to not only find a dentist closer to home, but one that could retain their employees.
Mainly their dentist. Nothing like showing up to an appointment to see someone totally new almost every time. Hello, anxiety.
Andrew C.'s been seeing Dr. Salem for almost two years now and has had nothing but positive feedback.
Accepts my insurance? Yeup! Off I went for my second cleaning of the year.
What's awesome about this practice?
1) Later appointments certain nights of the week
Perfect, because this office is on the way home from work, and makes it possible for patients to avoid missing work.
2) Punctual with appointment times
Sure, health professionals can run behind, and that happens, but the Type A fairy in me loved that I was taken back right at 5PM.
3) Incredibly friendly staff
Erica was a doll (complimenting my quads, the ultimate weightlifter compliment, haha!), Jackie gave me a super thorough cleaning, and Karen the receptionist was also very sweet.
4) No bombardment of advertisements or unnecessary procedures
The last practice I was a patient at, from the moment you got in the chair, you were bombarded with requests for unnecessary procedures (Invisalign and other products and procedures).
Dr. Salem, Erica or Jackie did not push treatments beyond what I needed.
4) Anxious? You're in the right place.
Like Erin H., I have some serious dental anxiety from past surgeries (ironically, my mother was a Pediatric RDH for a very long time) and Dr. Salem's calm demeanor definitely put me at ease.
Rest easy, you're in good hands here should you become a patient of Dr. Salem.
I look forward to coming back. :)
