I recently stayed at this hotel for business travel. The front desk staff was extremely nice and welcoming from the moment I walked through the door to check in. My room and the rest of the facilities were very clean. I didn't have time to check out the pool, workout area or basketball court but I'm sure they were well kept areas given the way the rest of the hotel looked. Parking was easy and its conveniently located in the Scottsdale/PV/Phoenix area. My only issue was with the iron in the room. I went to iron a brand new white shirt and at the first the iron worked great, but then halfway thru, it burned my shirt with a yellow tint. I informed the front desk the next day so they could replace the iron for the next guest and within an hour, the manager called me to apologize. She said that the iron had already been replaced and proceeded to ask me how much the shirt cost so they could send me a gift card to replace it. I had already left town so they sent me a gift card via fedex and I received it within a couple of days. No, it wasn't ideal to have my shirt damaged by the iron, but the way the hotel handled it was flawless. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone staying in the Scottsdale/PV/Phoenix area. It was also within walking distance of great restaurants, upscale grocery stores, etc. Oh and the complimentary continental breakfast was great as well! Thanks to Kelsey and the other great staff at the Marriott for taking such good care of me!!!
I'm only leaving 4 stars (not 5) because I did have an issue with the iron :(
