| - decent park for the value. Unfortunately a good number of rides (Patriot roller coaster, free fall, ropes course, zip line & all lil rides) were closed. Timing poor for spring break.....but the lines were at a min. & they gave a discount. Don't plan to eat there unless you feel like waiting a half hour for some grease. They allow carry-ins which is nice, pack a lunch. Kids ages 9 & 10 had a good time.
Note to Billy - staff - California does not have ONE WEEK of spring break - all schools and districts and cities vary from each other. Funny enough, this is spring break for many Phoenix based schools AND EASTER WEEK.
The arcade is decent - if you want to spend a nice sunny day inside??? Coming from Santa Cruz, the Boardwalk offers 3-4 more games/options than Castles and Coasters so I didn't feel the need to review an arcade that we did not use. I could say that the arcade smells of a mix between grease and an old roller rink. For food options - frozen pizza, pretzel, mini corn dogs, french fries. popcorn, chips.........nothing remotely healthy so while we brought in small health snacks, our bags/purses were not checked and we noticed others who were eating items not from the snack bar.
Summary - reasonable park - does not compare to any Six Flags or Boardwalk set-up - decent location if you are visiting the Phoenix area and no charge for parking. One would think that they would schedule maintenance earlier in the year.......definitely not in March or April when Spring breaks are scheduled :)
